Backflow Certification & Testing
Toledo and Maumee are actively inspecting commercial customers. Whitehouse is enforcing residential cross-connection requirements. If you've received a notice, don't wait.
Containment vs. Isolation — Plain English
Containment (at the meter)
A backflow preventer installed at the point where your water service enters the building. It protects the public water supply from anything inside your building — chemicals, bacteria, pressure fluctuations. Toledo and Maumee require this on commercial accounts and are actively enforcing it.
Isolation (at the hazard)
A preventer installed at a specific cross-connection point inside the building — an irrigation system, boiler, pool fill, or water-backup sump pump. Whitehouse is enforcing residential isolation requirements on these exact systems.
Both types require annual testing by a certified tester. We handle the test, the paperwork, and the filing. You get a written report.
